Radiology (Cardiology) 

Build confidence in recognising common cardiac conditions through imaging and develop a structured approach to interpretation.

Key learning outcomes:

  • Review chest X-rays and radiology involved in cardiac disease
  • Recognise radiological features of heart failure
  • Identify imaging findings associated with valvular heart disease
  • Understand how changes in the cardiac silhouette can indicate underlying pathology
  • Explore common OSCE-style cases and interpretation challenges

An effective handover is essential for continuity of care, patient safety and multidisciplinary teamwork. This session explores the principles of effective handovers.
