What you need to apply
You will need a minimum of 6 months Healthcare Assistant experience within the last 2 years, in a relevant setting for the area you are applying to i.e. ITU, A&E and Mental Health.
Alternatively, if you do not have the relevant experience, you will need to be Student Nurse working towards a Nursing qualification (Degree level) and have completed a minimum of 10-12 weeks clinical placement depending on the Trust you are applying for.
If you do not have the relevant care experience, you can apply for our Healthcare Support Worker Development programme.
What you need to apply
You will need a valid NMC registration and a minimum of 6 months healthcare experience (private or NHS) within the last 3 years, in a relevant setting for the area you are applying to i.e. ITU, A&E and Mental Health.
Alternatively, if you do not hold the relevant experience, you will need to have completed a ‘Return to Practice’ course within the last 2 years.
