Band 5 - Days - £22.00ph, Sat/Night £26.39ph, Sun/Bank Hol £26.39ph

  • Worcester Royal Hospital
  • Alexandra Hospital Redditch
  • Kidderminster Treatment Centre
  • Evesham Community Hospital

As a Bank Theatre Practitioner, you will be a vital part of the Theatres team helping to support unfilled shifts within the trust. The Theatres team focus on providing compassionate and patient centered care daily and if you would like to support and become a part of this friendly and passionate team, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

As a Theatre Practitioner at Worcestershire Acute Hospital NHS Trust you will be responsible for the following:

  • To ensure the maintenance of a high quality, patient focused care at all times in partnership with substantive staff
  • To provide effective leadership and act as a good role model, working with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • To provide and maintain a safe environment for all patients attending theatres for a surgical procedure.
  • To co-ordinate and carry out all aspects of care in the best interests of the patient and family.
  • To act as patient advocate throughout the theatre process.

In order to apply for this post, you must be a Nursing or ODP registered professional with a relevant qualification in your specific theatre discipline / demonstrable relevant experience (minimum of 6 months).
