Pay rateDay rate: £20.91

Night/Saturday rate: £27.19

Sunday/Bank Holiday rate: £33.46

We help our 65 NHS Trust clients implement tactical measures to improve workforce efficiency and productivity as part of an overall workforce strategy.

We are seeking Siste/Nurse in charge who is motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and team working skills to join our bank with George Eliot Trust.

In order to apply for a post you must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role held within the last 2 years and hold NMC Registered Nurse qualification and a valid PIN.

Main duties and Responsibilities

Clinical

  • Deliver a high standard of nursing care without direct supervision, based upon a sound evidence base.
  • Undertakes and documents a comprehensive, systematic and accurate nursing assessment of the physical social and spiritual needs of the patient where appropriate.
  • Creates and utilizes opportunities to promote health and well-being of babies and their families in their care.
  • Influence and monitor the standards of direct patient care delivery in accordance with best practice and operational protocols and guidelines.
  • Working within the NMC Guidelines and Trust Policies recognising one’s own abilities and limitations.
  • Promote good working relationships within the nursing teams providing appropriate advice and support.
  • Facilitate the development of standards of care and assist with the implementation of appropriate monitoring techniques.
  • Leads a nursing team to manage a group of patients throughout a shift.
