NHS staff banks play a key role in supporting the NHS to maintain high standards of patient safety and care. If a hospital does not have enough staff on a ward, due to increased demand, sickness, or staff shortages, they need the support of bank staff. This also reduces the Trusts reliance on recruitment agencies, enabling cost savings to be reinvested into where it matters most, patient care and safety.

Once you have joined the bank, you’ll be able to book suitable shifts using our smart booking platform to suit your lifestyle. We also have longer term block booking placements available.

NHS Professionals, working in conjunction with Southern Health NHS Foundation trust are seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join the bank as a long-term placement.
