We currently have some unique and exciting opportunities within Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust which will allow the successful candidates to gain regular shifts and valuable experience within a unique mental health environment. We have both Fully Flexible Ad Hoc shifts and Long-Term Placement opportunities available within a variety of locations, providing you with the chance to work regular shifts for a guaranteed period!

Locations: Ravenswood House, Knowle, Fareham, PO17 5NA

Band 5

Day Rate - £16.13 per hour

Night/Sat Rate - £20.97 per hour

Sun/Bank Holiday Rate - £25.80 per hour

NHS Professionals, working in conjunction with Southern Health NHS Foundation trust are seeking qualified Registered Mental Health Nurses to join the bank. NHS Professionals works in partnership with Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust to provide their temporary staffing requirements.

Ravenswood House is a secure unit with both low and medium secure wards providing assessment, care and treatment for adults with serious mental illness or personality disorder who need to receive their care in either a low or medium secure environment. Most of our patients have either committed a criminal offence or have challenging behaviour. We admit patients from high secure hospitals, local psychiatric hospitals, prisons, and the courts.

You will be offered a full induction, training and development opportunities and a fully flexible approach to hours – full or part time.

  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role held within the last 2 years
  • Have good communication skills and demonstrate evidence of team working
  • Be able to take direction and instruction and be honest and trustworthy
