Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is a provider of specialist health care to over 275,000 children and young people each year. In addition to the hospital site located in the West Derby area of Liverpool, Alder Hey has a presence in community outreach sites and, in collaboration with other providers, our clinicians help deliver care closer to patients’ homes by holding local clinics at locations from Cumbria to Shropshire, in Wales and the Isle of Man. The Trust also provides inpatient care for children with complex mental health needs at our Alder Park building in the nearby borough of Sefton

Joining NHSP 

If you are looking to join NHSP to support AH with additional shifts please join the bank here and for any queries please email ah@nhsp.nhs.uk. 

If you are an agency worker looking to move over to the bank you can also follow this link, you will be given 1stchoice of shifts, holiday pay and will also be entitled to the seasonal incentives that we offer. Please note we will need to give your agency four weeks’ notice. 

NHSP Important Notifications 

Please be aware that you may be asked to move wards as and when required – this is due to the needs of the trust. 

Access logins – please be aware you may need system access dependent on role in order to use the systems at AH, this will be organised with you when you join or alternatively please write to ah@nhsp.nhs.uk if your role requires access. 

 

NHSP Uniform & Alder Hey’s Uniform & Dress Code Policy

Can I please remind all Bank Exclusive & Bank Only staff that you must wear NHSP uniform whilst on bank shifts and adhere to the full uniform & dress code policy for Alder Hey particularly around footwear and false nails.

 

You maybe be asked to leave your shift if you are not adhering to the correct policy and possibly be restricted from working.
