Renewing your Right to Work

It’s important we keep our records of your right to work up to date so you can continue booking shifts.

If your right to work is due to expire, please click on the statement below that best applies to you and follow the instructions to renew your right to work records with us

We will need to see your Certificate of Naturalisation and proof of national Insurance or your UK Passport (if you have one).

Please contact your NHSP Onsite Team to arrange a document verification.

You can find their contact details by clicking here. Choose your Trust and then scroll to the bottom of their webpage.

Please obtain your Share Code via the Home Office website here and send this to Vetting@NHSProfessionals.nhs.uk

Once we have this, our Vetting team will complete an online right to work check and update our records.

 Please note: NHS Professionals will use this information along with your date of birth to complete an online right to work check with the Home Office to confirm the updated details of your right to work. 

Please send evidence of your application in progress to Vetting@NHSProfessionals.nhs.uk.

Our Vetting team will send an Employer Checking Service request to the Home Office on your behalf.

Please note: NHS Professionals will use the details held on the document confirming your application is in progress along with any required personal details to complete the Employer Checking service request with the Home Office.

It can take up to 15 working days for us to receive a response from the Home Office so please only contact us if you have not had an update after this time

You do not need to do anything.

Our Vetting team will send a new Employer Checking Service request to the Home Office on your behalf.

We will only be in touch should we receive a negative response, and we are unable to extend your right to work expiry date.

 

If you do not provide NHS Professionals with your new Right to Work evidence prior to its expiry, you will be temporarily stopped from booking any future shifts until you complete the necessary actions to enable us to update our records.
