Bank Member Advisory Group

What is the Bank Member Advisory Group?

We’re committed to putting our bank members at the heart of what we do and improving their experience of working with us.

To help achieve this, we have formed a Bank Member Advisory Group to represent the member voice and act as critical friends. They will discuss and advise us on improvements to the member experience and test out new processes and systems designed to make working with us easier.

The purpose of the Bank Member Advisory Group, responsibilities of members and criteria to join the group is captured in the terms of reference.

Who can be a member of the advisory group?

We welcome all bank members who work exclusively via NHSP with a Bank Only or Bank Exclusive engagement status who have worked at least one shift each month since joining. We aim for the advisory group to be as representative of the diversity of our members as much as possible.

What will members of the advisory group do?

Represent our bank members at four meetings a year and contribute to the discussions. Members of the advisory group will also be expected to share with their colleagues and networks a summary of the work of the group and sign up to the terms of reference for the group.

When do the advisory group meet?

The Bank Member Advisory Group meet four times a year. Meetings will be virtual and will be held on Microsoft Teams. Provisional dates for Bank Member Advisory Group Meetings in 2023 will be released shortly.
